IPL 2022: Harsha Bhogle Gave Jos Buttler A Massive Compliment

Harsha Bhogle Gave Jos Buttler A Massive Compliment: Jos Buttler continued with his stellar form for Rajasthan Royals in the ongoing 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League as he played yet another memorable knock against Delhi capitals on Friday at Wankhede Stadium. Jos Buttler, who has emerged as one of the biggest superstars of IPL 2022, smashed his third century of the ongoing season.

After having scored tons against Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders earlier in the season, Buttler smashed his second successive century against Delhi Capitals.

After being asked to bat first, Jos Buttler started the innings for Rajasthan Royals with Devdutt Padikkal. Though, he started off slow but he soon took the game by storm as he started dealing in sixes and boundaries after a relatively quiet powerplay. The opening duo recorded the first 100-run opening stand of the IPL 2022 as together they smashed the Delhi Capitals bowling attack to all the corners of the ground.

Jos Buttler reached the 3-figure mark in just 57 deliveries and ended his knock with 116 runs off 65 balls, smashing 9 fours and 9 sixes.

Meanwhile, the stylish cricketer has been receiving praises from all corners. The cricket fraternity was left in awe of the brilliance of Jos Buttler and just can’t stop praising the cricketer for his terrific knock.

Among many, popular commentators and cricket analysts, Harsha Bhogle also joined the bandwagon and came up with a brilliant tweet. In his Tweet, Harsha opined how Buttler can break the record of Virat Kohli, considering his current form. He wrote:

“Buttler 2022. Might even get close to Kohli 2016 at this rate. Almost halfway there.”

Check out the Tweet:

For the unversed,  former RCB captain Virat Kohli is the only player in the Indian Premier League’s history to have smashed four centuries in a season and this record might be under the threat at the moment. Not just this, Virat Kohli had scored 973 runs in IPL 2016, and butter has reached halfway there. In the ongoing season, Buttler has already scored 491 runs off his 7 innings.
