IPL 2022: Irfan Pathan Destroyed Pakistani Journalist Who Trolled Mohammed Shami

Irfan Pathan Destroyed Pakistani Journalist On Twitter: Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans kickstarted their journey in the ongoing 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League on a fabulous note by winning back-to-back two games. After defeating their new counterparts Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in their first match, Gujarat Titans managed to defeat Delhi Capitals last night.

India’s sensational bowler Mohammed Shami put up a scintillating show for Gujarat Titans in both the games — against Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals. He has been very impressive so far in the tournament.

He bamboozled LSG with the new ball as he dismissed LSG skipper KL Rahul, wicket-keeper batter Quinton de Kock and middle-order batter Manish Pandey in three consecutive overs despite the field restrictions.  This was followed by an amazing performance against Delhi Capitals, where he picked two wickets.

There is no denying the fact that Shami remains a force to reckon with, especially in the powerplays. Impressed with his performance with the new ball, former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan took to his Twitter and hailed Team India pacer’s skills with the new ball. He wrote:

“There are not many in World Cricket who uses new ball better than Mohammed shami!”

The Tweet caught the attention of a Pakistani journalist, who took a dig at Shami on Pathan’s Tweet saying “THEY CAN’T PLAY HIM” referring to the Indian pacer’s wicketless outing against Pakistan during the T20 World Cup clash in October last year. He wrote:

“THEY CAN’T PLAY HIM”

Irfan Pathan was quick to notice the tweet and come up with a reply to it. In his reply, Pathan shut him down calling him a ‘sasta expert’ and wrote:

“In 2003 World Cup, Wasim Akram (Legend) couldn’t beat Sachin Tendulkar’s (Legend) bat. Does it mean he couldn’t bowl?? #sasteexperts”
