Ishan Kishan Got Involved In A Very Funny Incident: Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2022 game on Monday at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. KKR’s win last night kept their hopes alive to seal a place in the IPL 2022 playoffs.
Mumbai was expensive inside the Powerplay overs derailed their momentum in the game. as they were unable to pick wickets. However, Mumbai made a stunning comeback in the innings, all thanks to Jasprit Bumrah’s sensational spell, which restricted them from 156/5 to 156/8.
During KKR innings a hilarious incident took place, which has gone crazily viral on social media. Well, in a hilarious moment, the KKR batters managed to steal a quick single while MI keeper Ishan Kishan kept cluelessly looking for the ball.
The hilarious incident took place during the 9th over of KKR’s innings when Nitish Rana tried to smash a Kumar Kartikeya’s delivery with a reverse sweep shot for a boundary. However, he failed to connect the ball and could only manage to bottom-edge the ball right past the legs of Ishan Kishan.
But in brain fade moment, Ishan couldn’t spot the ball on time and kept cluelessly looking around for the ball, that rolled away to Bumrah at short square leg.
Kumar Kartikeya was himself seen yelling at Ishan Kishan to collect the ball, and the latter could only respond with a sheepish smile. Nitish Rana and Ajinkya Rahane wasted no time and they managed to take a quick single. Pommie Mbangwa, who was commentating at that time, was also left amused by the hilarious incident.
