Hard-hitting New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham was once again at it: giving back epic replies to the trolls on Twitter. Cricket’s ultimate witty guy, Neesham is known for his hilarious responses on social media and often gets himself in the news headlines for his entertaining the fans on social media when he’s away from the cricket field.
Now, recently, Jimmy Neesham shut down a a Twitter user who tried to ridicule the Kiwi all-rounder.
This started when Neesham reckoned Sachin Tendulkar had as much impact – if not bigger – on cricket than Tiger Woods has had on golf while replying to a AndrewGourdie, an Auckland based journalist, who said that Woods is the most impactful sportsathlete.

This response was loved and got Jimmy Neesham lots of applauds, especially from Indian fans. Amid this, though, one Twitter user, named Muhammad Faizan, tried to troll Neesham, saying that the cricketer should avoid idulging himself in sycophancy to flatter the Indian audiecnces. This user didn’t know that Neesham is with the Rajasthan Royals for IPL 2022, adding that the all-rounder’s form isn’t worthy of being picked up by an IPL franchise.
Jimmy Neesham, to his character, was having none of this troller, and shot back with a witty response: “I’m literally at the IPL right now lol” This got the fans rolling with laughter over the lack of knowledge and the mockery attempt of the user.

Embarrased by this public insult, the troller deleted his comment! However, netizens were quick to take screenshots of it before the comment was deleted.
James Neesham was bought by the Royals for his base price of 1.5 crore at the mega-auction. Last season he was with Mumbai Indians and with Punjab Kings before that.
The all-rounder was in an ordinary form during the Super Smash T20 in New Zealand- 6 wickets in 7 games, economy of 8.62 in addition to scoring 47 runs in 5 innings at strike rate of 94.
Rajasthan have played three matches so far – winning the first two before conceding a loss – however, Neesham is yet to make his first appearance for the franchise this season. He could, though, come in the eleven in their next game – against Lucknow on Sunday – as Navdeep Saini has had two poor outings with the ball.
