IPL 2022, Match 37: Fantasy Cricket Tips For MI vs LSG

Fantasy Cricket Tips For MI vs LSG: For match 37 of IPL 2022, the Mumbai Indians will meet the Lucknow Super Giants on Sunday evening at the Wankhede Stadium.

Finally, the five-time champions now return to their fortress, the Wankhede, however, it seems too late to now aim for a playoff berth given they have lost all of their 7 matches of the season.

Their opponents for Sunday, Lucknow Super Giants have won four out of 7 matches but are coming off an 18-run loss to Royal Challengers Bangalore. Rohit Sharma’s side came close to registering their first win of the season in the last game, versus Chennai Super Kings, but an MS Dhoni special handed them a last-ball defeat.

Here, we bring you the best fantasy cricket tips for this exciting contest:

Venue: Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai

Recently over 400 runs were scored in the RR-DC game with pacers taking more wickets than the spinners. Expect another batting paradise at the Wankhede and another high-scoring game with two teams having strong batting units.

Mumbai Indians:

MI came really close to a win vs CSK with most of their players performing well. However, the skipper has been in poor form; Rohit Sharma could even ponder upon pushing himself down in the order, although that seems highly unlikely.

With MI all but out of the playoff race, they could ring a few changes. The likes of Tim David, Arshad Khan, Sanjay Yadav, Mayank Markande could get a game.

MI predicted XI: Rohit Sharma (c), Ishan Kishan (wk), Dewald Brevis, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Kieron Pollard/Tim David, Daniel Sams, Hrithik Shokeen/Arshad Khan, Riley Meredith, Jaydev Unadkat/Mayank Markande, Jasprit Bumrah

Lucknow Super Giants:

Despite the loss to RCB, Lucknow are unlikely to make more than one change. Given MI have a left-hander at the top – Kishan – and another one to follow – Tilak Varma – LSG is expected to replace Manish Pandey with Krishnappa Gowtham.

LSG predicted XI: KL Rahul (c), Quinton de Kock (wk), Manish Pandey/Krishnappa Gowtham, Marcus Stoinis, Deepak Hooda, Ayush Badoni, Krunal Pandya, Jason Holder, Dushmantha Chameera, Avesh Khan, Ravi Bishnoi

Fantasy cricket tips: Rohit Sharma has been in horrid form, and will further be discomforted seeing Chameera, who has dismissed him 6 times in 10 innings. Quinton de Kock is playing against his former team so could play well, as has been the trend this season.

You can once again take risk of excluding Bumrah, especially if MI are bowling second, from your fantasy team because teams now play him out safely and attack other MI bowlers. KL Rahul scored a century vs MI earlier in the season and averages 76 versus them, so he’s a safe captaincy option. Kishan has crossed 20 just once in his last 5 innings.

Based on the above fantasy cricket tips, here is the best XI for the MI-LSG match on Dream XI:

Wicket-keeper: KL Rahul (C), Quinton de Kock

Batsman: Dewald Brevis, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma

All-rounder: Jason Holder, Daniel Sams

Bowler: Dushmantha Chameera, Avesh Khan, Ravi Bishnoi, Riley Meredith
