IPL 2022 Mega-Auctions: Here’s The Full List Of Players Who Will Go Under The Hammer

The upcoming mega-auction ahead of the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League is just around the corner and the excitement among the fans is increasing with every passing day. Now ahead of the mega-event, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday, announced the complete shortlist of players who will be going under the hammer during the IPL 2022 mega-auctions.

Well, a total of 590 players have been shortlisted as 10 teams will enter the mega-auction to finalize their squads for the 2022 edition of the IPL, which is expected to kickstart from the final week of March.

“The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 Player Auction list is out with a total of 590 cricketers set to go under the hammer during the two-day mega auction which will take place in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13, 2022,” said the board in its statement.

Among the 590 players shortlisted by the BCCI, 28 players are capped, 355 are uncapped players and 7 players belong to the Associate Nations.

While there are many big names present on the list, Chris Gayle, who is considered one of the biggest stars of the IPL has decided to not enter the IPL 2022 auction. Apart from Chris Gayle, Ben Stokes is also absent from the list of shortlisted players.

The BCCI also identified 10 marquee players for the mega-auctions.

Talking about the base price, Rs 2 core is the highest reserve price and as many as 48 players have set their base price of INR 2 crores. There are 20 players who have set their base price at INR 1.5 crore while 34 players have set their base price at INR 1 crore.
