IPL 2022 Play-Offs And Final Will Be Played At These Two Venues

IPL 2022: The ongoing 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League has been going on in full swing with all the 10 teams competing against each other. Though this time the format is different, the squad line-ups are different, however, the entertainment and thrill are still the same.Meanwhile, according to reports, it’s almost decided that the IPL 2022 Final will take place in Ahmedabad. The preparations for the same have been going on in full swing at the Motera Stadium.

 

Further, if there is no change in the COVID situation in India, Qualifier 1 as well as the Eliminator next month, will be hosted at the iconic Eden Gardens of Kolkata. Qualifier 2 will be hosted in Ahmedabad. BCCI will be making an official announcement regarding the same any time soon.

As per the reports that have been floating around on the internet, Qualifier 1 and Eliminator will be hosted in Kolkata. Qualifier 2 will take place in Ahmedabad.

Qualifier 1: Eden Gardens, Kolkata
Eliminator: Eden Gardens, Kolkata
Qualifier 2: Ahemdabad
IPL 2022 Finals: Ahmedabad

Talking about the performances of the team, Rajasthan Royals regained the top spot in the IPL 2022 points table by defeating Lucknow Super Giants in a last-over thriller on Sunday. Rajasthan Royals is currently the table-toppers, with 3 wins from 4 matches. Kolkata Knight Riders, who earlier held the spot, have dropped one spot and are followed by Royal Challengers Bangalore at 3rd position and Lucknow Super Giants at 4th position.

Two of the most successful franchises in IPL — Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings are currently struggling in the ongoing season. They are currently sitting at the bottom of the table, with 0 wins.

Orange Cap holder: Jos Buttler (RR) – 218 runs

Purple Cap holder: Yuzvendra Chahal (RR) – 11 wickets
