SRH vs KKR: The resurgent Sunrisers Hyderabad will face the mercurial Kolkata Knight Riders on Friday evening at the Brabourne Stadium.
Kane Williamson’s side have registered two back-to-back wins after losing their first two matches. Shreyas Iyer’s team have had 3 victories in 5 matches and have a healthier run rate than most other teams.
Both of SRH’s victories – vs CSK and GT – have been attained comfortably by 8 wickets after the bowlers restricted the opposition to par totals. With Williamson and Abhishek Sharma both providing match-winning contributions, SRH looks a formidable outfit that they did after early losses.
KKR bowlers went for plenty – 215 – versus the DC batters and they fell 44 short of that after skipper Shreyas Iyer’s fifty. KKR would want to brush aside this loss quickly as they had won a couple of games before this.

SRH have been dealt a big blow as all-rounder Washington Sundar is ruled out for at least a couple of games due to a hand injury. Shreyas Gopal, the legspinner, and J Suchith, the left-arm spinning allrounder, are two potential options to replace Sundar.
Kartik Tyagi can also come in for the expensive Umran Malik.
