IPL 2022: Rohit Sharma Is Getting Badly Trolled After His Disappointing Performance

Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians is locking its horns against Rajasthan Royals in the ongoing match number 9 of the IPL 2022 at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai. Asked to bat first, Rajasthan Royals posted a target of 194 runs on the scoreboard, all thanks to the terrific knock of Jos Buttler.

Jos Buttler scored a century off 66 balls and he made sure to post a competitive target on the scoreboard. He was well-supported by the RR captain Sanju Samson and also by Shimron Hetmyer in the end. The Royals looked like a settled unit against Mumbai Indians in the first innings.

Later, while chasing the target of 194 runs, Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan walked out to open the innings for Mumbai Indians, however, they failed to give a solid start to the side as their captain fell cheaply early in the innings.

Rohit Sharma, who was only 64 runs away from completing 10,000 T20 runs, was expected to play big innings, however, the cricketer could only survive 10 balls on-field. He was dismissed for just 5 runs by a Prasidh Krishna delivery. He hit that ball very hard however the ball landed straight in the hands of Riyan Parag. He couldn’t find the gap and found Riyan Parag at the backward point, who took a sharp catch.

Meanwhile, fans on social media were left heartbroken after Rohit Sharma’s disappointing outing today. There were many who started trolling the star batter after he failed to make it big today.
