IPL 2022 Schedule, Date, Time And Venue Details Have Been Announced

Finally, the wait is over now. The full-match schedule of IPL 2022 is out. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the much-awaited schedule for the upcoming 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League.

IPL 2022 is all set to commence on March 26 and will entertain cricket fans around the world for more than two months, with the final match scheduled to take place on May 29.

This year, the fans will witness a battle among 10 teams, as two new teams Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans have joined the league. All the 10 teams have already developed their squads ahead of the tournament. During the IPL 2022 mega-auctions, that took place last month, all the 10 teams grabbed their favorite players. A total of 204 players were picked by the 10 franchises during the auction.

A total number of 70 league matches and 4 Playoff games will be played in the duration of 65 days.

Meanwhile, a total of 70 league matches will be played among the 10 teams. The BCCI has set up two virtual groups. Group A consists of teams like Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants. Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Gujarat Titans are part of group B.
