Suresh Raina Asked A Direct Question To His Fans After The First Match: The Indian Premier League 2022 kicked off on a high note all thanks to the thriller match between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders. It was a dream start for Shreyas Iyer, who managed to cruise KKR to a comfortable win against the defending champions Chennai Super Kings in the first match of IPL 2022.

It seemed like an easy chase for Kolkata Knight Riders, all thanks to the platform laid by their openers — Venkatesh Iyer and Ajinkya Rahane. Rahane played a classic knock, however, he missed out on a deserving fifty. A couple of quick wickets fell in the middle overs however Shreyas Iyer along with Sam Billings just kept knocking the ball around.
KKR’s newly-appointed captain remained unbeaten in the end to take his side home in a relatively low-scoring match. Sam Billings, on the other hand, played a quick-fire knock towards the end.
Earlier, Iyer rotated his bowlers very impressively as they managed to restrict the CSK batters to a low-scoring total of 131 runs.
Well, things didn’t start off well for CSK as KKR got off to a great start with wickets of Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway. Soon the middle-over batters like Robin Uthappa, Ambati Rayudu, and Shivam Dube also marched their way towards the pavilion. Chennai was reeling at 61 for 5 in the 11th over when MS Dhoni walked out to bat at number 7.

Dhoni took his time and struggled for timing however he picked up some momentum and smashed a quickfire fifty to help CSK post a competitive target. Dhoni entertained the fans with his vintage shots as he smashed 7 boundaries and a six as he remained unbeaten on fifty. This was his first half-century in the IPL after 3 years.
Meanwhile, after the match, former Chennai Super Kings’ superstar Suresh Raina, who made his commentary debut in the match last night, took to his social media and penned down a special Tweet.
In his Tweet, while he congratulated Kolkata Knight Riders on winning their first game of the season, Raina also showered praises on his good friend MS Dhoni for his amazing performance. He also asked a direct question to the fans about his commentary debut. He wrote:
