Former Indian batter and IPL superstar Suresh Raina has impressed one and all with his new stint as a commentator in the ongoing IPL 2022. Raina, who was an integral part of the Chennai Super Kings’ set-up wasn’t retained by the team. For the first time in IPL history, Suresh Raina went unsold at the auctions.
He had enrolled himself at the mega auction for his base price of Rs 2 crore, however, none of the franchises showed any interest to sign the southpaw. However, he is still engaged with the cash-rich league in a new role.
Suresh Raina made his commentary debut during the first match of IPL 2022, which was between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders. Raina has managed to impress his fans with his commentary skills and deep cricket knowledge.
Recently, Raina had shared his thoughts on all the teams of the ongoing season. During a media interaction ahead of the first game of IPL 2022 between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders, Raina said that all the teams are looking strong, however, they can’t all qualify for the playoff stage. In the end, there will be four teams that can make it to the next round.
Deemed as Mr. IPL by the world, Raina named the four teams he thinks will make it to the play-offs — Chennai Super Kings, Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals, and Royal Challengers Bangalore
