Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) bowler Umran Malik has impressed one and all with his terrific bowling skills. Malik looked in an impressive rhythm as he maintained 145 plus avg speed during his first over against Lucknow Super Giants in the ongoing game of Indian Premier League 2022.
Well, Umran Malik first came into the limelight during the previous season after he was drafted as into the SRH squad as a COVID replacement for T Natarajan. He impressed everyone by consistently clocking over 150 kmph last year. In fact, Umran Malik also holds a record of bowling the fastest ball by an Indian bowler in IPL history. It was during IPL 2021 when Umran delivered at the speed of 152.95 and 152.05 kmph.
In the IPL 2022 mega-auction, SunRisers Hderabad showed faith in him and retained him ahead of many talented players The young pacer has also managed to fulfill the expectations of his team as he has impressed many with his raw pace.
Every ball he bowled today was delivered at an excess of 140. His first four deliveries were above 145 while his last delivery was just above 140 clicks. His raw pace and control helped him get better of the Royals batters Jos Buttler and Devdutt Padikkal.

Umran Malik has played three first-class matches so far.
When he played one for India A in SA last November, he went for 4.28 runs per over; when he played the other two for J&K this Ranji season, he went for 5.37 per over.
