Mumbai is the city of dreams and home to many celebrities, cricketers, and prominent people of the country. After Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, etc. Delhi Capitals opener Prithvi Shaw recently bought his dream house in Bandra West, Mumbai for Rs 10.5 crore.

According to a report by the Economic Times, Prithvi Shaw has bought the eighth-floor apartment located in the project 81 Aureate by MJ Shah on KC Road. The property is developed by Pyramid Developers and Ultra Lifespace. The report read:
“The apartment with carpet area of 2,209 sq. ft. and terrace measuring 1,654 sq ft is on 8th floor of residential tower 81 Aureate. As part of the deal, Shaw will also get exclusive access to three car parking slots.”

The report further added that the buyer had already paid a stamp duty of INR 52.50 lakh for the transaction. While the home was bought on March 31, it was registered on April 28. As per the report, Shaw reportedly paid INR 52.50 lakhs as stamp duty. The total amount of the home was almost equivalent to the batter’s last five years’ IPL salary.

It has to be noted that Prithvi was roped in by Delhi Capitals for INR 1.2 crore in IPL 2018 auction and was retained for the next three seasons for the same amount. However, the sensational opener was retained at Rs 7.5 crore ahead of the IPL 2022 auction.

The talented opener would now be looking forward to making the best of his opportunities in the remaining fixtures. He will be next seen in action in the upcoming game against SunRisers Hyderabad at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on May 5
