Chennai Super Kings kept R Sai Kishore with them for several seasons but never gave him a chance to play. And this year, he made his debut for Gujarat Titans. He was instrumental in the team’s victories against Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings.

2. Thisara Perera – Released by CSK, becomes match winner for Sunrisers Hyderabad

Former Sri Lanka captain Thisara Perera made his IPL debut for Chennai Super Kings in 2010, but was released after a match. Pereira has since made match-winning performances for other teams in the league.

3. George Bailey:

George Bailey started his IPL career in 2009 for Chennai. However, he could not perform well. He then became the captain of Punjab Kings in 2014 and took the team to the final in that season where he was defeated by Kolkata.

4. Tim Southee:

Tim Southee played five matches for CSK in 2011 and took four wickets. After that he was not given any more chances to play. And later in his career, Southee made several match-winning performances for Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders.

5. Andrew Tye:

Andrew Tye was with Chennai Super Kings in 2015. He did not get a chance to play a single match in that season. In 2017, he took a hat-trick for Gujarat Lions, while in 2018, he won the Purple Cap representing Punjab Kings.
