The Chennai Super Kings had an off season this year where they finished 9th in the points table. Next year is possibly going to be MS Dhoni’s final season as a player. Rahmanullah Gurbaz (Afghanistan)

Gurbaz was signed by the Gujarat Titans but did not get a single game to play. The 20 year old is the third Afghan cricketer to score an ODI hundred. The wicket-keeper batter has got a T20 strike rate of 138 and surely an upcoming exciting cricketer to watch out. Let’s see if CSK can snatch him while other teams look keen to get some potential great stars for the future too. His evaluation might go up in the upcoming auction, with his recent performances being top-class.

Cameron Green (Australia)

A pacer, who can bat a bit is always a great option to have in the bowling attack. CSK had Sam Curran in their ranks before who did well. But, he has been listed in this year’s auction, with the Englishman becoming one of the best death bowlers in the world in recent times. This may urge other top teams to fight for his signature. If the management is thinking of a handy all-rounder, Green could be the ideal man to go to. He is trying to make a name for himself in the IPL, after doing so with his international team.

Another advantage that Green would have is that he scored quite a bit of runs on his team’s previous tour to the subcontinent. This would make him a really dependable option for CSK.

Sikandar Raza (Zimbabwe)

It has been a revolution as a cricketer for the Pakistani born Zimbabwe international. At 36, Raza is enough experienced in T20 cricket and a genuine match winner. Raza is one of the first name on the team sheet for Zimbabwe. Raza’s mystery spin can be useful at Chepauk surface as well as his batting. The talented all-rounder can be a major signing for CSK.
