In the latest and very interesting development, it has been reported that the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have enquired with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for a trade of players ahead of the IPL 2023 mini-auction.
All the 10 IPL franchises have been told to finalize and announce their list of released and retained players by mid-November. The IPL 2023 mini-auction will take place in mid-December. The trading window is currently open and will be closed in mid-November when the teams will have finalized their retained and released players.

Ravindra Jadeja and CSK had a fall-out during the tournament when Jadeja was sacked as captain – although the official statement said the all-rounder himself decided to give up captaincy to focus on his own game – after CSK had a poor first half of the tournament, and MS Dhoni was reinstalled as the skipper.
Reportedly, since the tournament ended, Jadeja has not contacted the franchises regarding his fitness updates and hasn’t participated in any social media activity on CSK’s handle. He also deleted most of his Instagram posts related to CSK.
