India and Gujarat Titans’ star pacer Mohammad Shami on Saturday broke the internet as he shared the viral picture of himself conversing with Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, who is also the co-owner of Punjab Kings, after the teams’ match in Mohali on April 13.

The picture was clicked right after the IPL 2023 match between Punjab and defending champions Gujarat Titans on Thursday. However, it was the caption of Shami’s post that left everyone befuddled, leaving the post to go viral on social media.

Talking about the PBKS vs GT match, Punjab lost that game against Gujarat at home on Thursday, incurring their second straight defeat after they had started their campaign with two wins in a row. On the other hand, Gujarat Titans made a stellar comeback from that Rinku Singh onslaught at home and thrashed PBKS by six wickets in the last-over thriller.
After the win, Gujarat Titans is sitting at the third spot in the points table as it is now only the third team to have secured three wins in IPL 2023 so far after Lucknow Super Giants and Rajasthan Royals. Punjab Kings is now sitting in the sixth spot.
