IPL 2023: India will kickstart the 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League in a little over a week. For the first time since the pandemic, the cash-rich league will host an opening ceremony, and the Indian board wants to up the glamour factor.
Two Biggest Actress To Perform In IPL 2023 Opening Ceremony
Rashmika Mandana and Tamanna Bhatia, two actors, are reportedly likely to perform on the opening night, which is undoubtedly exciting for the audience. On March 31, the inauguration ceremony will take place at the world’s biggest stadium Narendra Modi stadium. Prior to the season’s first game between GT and CSK on March 31, the event will start at roughly 19.30 IST.
“Yes, there will be an opening ceremony on the 31st. It will be a short one but as the home and away format returns, we felt it was necessary to welcome back the home crowd with a ceremony,” a senior BCCI official told InsideSport.
The Women’s Premier League also had an opening ceremony hosted by BCCI. Yet without any superstars, it had a split reaction. But, the BCCI wants a number of Bollywood A-listers for the IPL Opening ceremony.
The broadcaster secured the right to air every game live during the 2023 IPL season. Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Bengali will all be included in the coverage.
Viacom18 secured the digital rights to the IPL 2023 and will offer free online viewing via JioCinema.
