Suresh Raina Makes A Bold Prediction For CSK: Four-time IPL champs Chennai Super Kings will kickstart their hunt for a record-equalling fifth title in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 after a disastrous season last year. The Dhoni-led Yellow Army, which is one of the most successful teams in the history of the cash-rich tournament, failed to defend their crown in the 15th season of the world’s richest T20 league.
CSK crashed out in the league stage in the previous edition of the IPL last year. CSK finished 9th in the points table, with four wins and 10 defeats.
The 2022 edition of the IPL also saw Dhoni returning back as the captain of the Chennai side after all-rounder Jadeja stepped down from the top post.
In IPL 2022, Ravindra Jadeja was named captain of the side ahead of the tournament, however, his performance had taken a hit. He was replaced by MS Dhoni midway after his captaincy didn’t yield desired results.
Suresh Raina Made A Big Prediction

Meanwhile, speaking to Sportskeeda, Raina said that the star Indian all-rounder has done really well with both the bat and ball and will prove to be a great support for CSK captain MS Dhoni in the upcoming season. He said:
“Sir Jadeja has done really well with both bat and ball of late and he will prove to be a great support to Dhoni. He has gone through a great rehab as he is looking really strong and physically fit. When he goes there (Chepauk), fans will cheer for him as well as for Dhoni,”
Raina added: “Ruturaj will play his first game at the Chepauk. He is a great player and will definitely do well. MS Dhoni will also be keen to go back to Chepauk and interact with all the ‘Whistle Podu’ and ‘Yellove’ fans. It will be very exciting and I hope we will start with a win there,”
