Kings XI Punjab surprised one and all by buying uncapped Tamin Nadu fast bowler T Natarajan for INR 3 crore in IPL auction 2017. Natarajan was one of the biggest success stories of Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL). The biggest turning point in Natarajan’s career came when he bowled 6 consecutive yorkers in the super over and choked his state captain Abhinav Mukund and Washington Sundar, who represented India in the Under-19 World Cup in Bangladesh last year.

After his successful stint in TNPL, T Natarajan was picked to play for Tamil Nadu’s Ranji team, where picked 27 wickets in 9 matches and became a vital member of the squad.

Natarajan’s biggest strength is his ability to bowl yorkers in the death overs and this will prove a big plus for Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2017. In the Inter-State T20s when he bowled five in an over, at the death against Karnataka on T20 debut.
