Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are one of the most well balanced squads in the Indian Premier League. Their captain Gautam Gambhir, who was the only captain present in the IPL auction 2017, is a very intelligent cricketer and he gives more preference to building a strong bowling department.

In the IPL auction 2017, KKR made some very good purchases and added more value to their squad. Their two biggest buys of IPL auction 2017 were New Zealand’s fast bowler Trent Boult, who was bought for INR 5 crore. And England’s all-rounder Chris Woakes, for whom KKR had to pay INR 4.2 crore. KKR also bought a couple of young India talents to add more depth and variety to their squad. Check out the full list here:
