The Delhi Capitals’ skipper, Shreyas Iyer isn’t a part of the ongoing 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League due to an injury he sustained during the recently concluded ODI series against England. While the fans are missing his presence on the field, however, the cricketer is making sure to entertain his fans via his social media.

As Delhi Capitals is currently locking its horns with Rajasthan Royals in the ongoing match at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, Shreyas Iyer came up with a hilarious meme while trolling Shikhar Dhawan for his celebration.

Defending the target of 148 runs, Delhi Capitals‘ bowlers made a solid comeback into the game. Delhi Capitals’ star cricketer Shikhar Dhawan played an instrumental role in the comeback as he took three important catches – Sanju Samson, Shivam Dube, and Riyan Parag, and tried to restrict the Royals from getting closer to the target.

Meanwhile, social media was soon flooded with amazing reactions from Twitterati on this. From hilarious memes to jokes, twitterat is hailing the brilliant fielding efforts of Shikhar Dhawan, who never fail to impress the fans with his athletic skills.

Among many, DC’s skipper Shreyas Iyer, who is currently recovering, also took to his Instagram and took a hilarious dig at Shikhar for his unique celebration style. Shreyas shared a picture of a man’s badly swollen thigh and wrote that Shikhar’s thigh will look like that after the match. He wrote:

“@Shikhardofficial After this game”
