During his knock, Ishan smashed the RCB bowlers to all the corners of the ground. He also smashed a stunning 102-metre six against RCB. He flicked RCB seamer Josh Hazlewood for a massive six over deep mid-wicket to propel MI’s brisk start in the PowerPlay. The six came at the first ball of the fourth over, which was the second over of Josh Hazlewood.

Kishan eventually fell after scoring 42 runs off 21 balls. His stunning knock was laced with 4 fours and 4 sixes.

The replays showed that the maximum actually went as high as 102 m. Notably, this was the sixth-highest six of the season so far.

Ishan has been in sensational form in the ongoing tournament as he recently stroked a match-winning fifty against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Kishan was also looking dangerous tonight but ace spinner Wanindu Hasaranga got the better of him and he fell just eight runs short of the 50.

Earlier in the game, RCB posted a competitive total of 199 runs in their 20 overs quota.
