Young and talented keeper-batter Ishan Kishan pulled KL Rahul’s leg on his latest Instagram post. Rahul is currently recovering from the injury that he sustained during the 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League.
For the unversed, during IPL 2023 game against Royal Challengers Bangalore on 1st May, Rahul tore a tendon in his right leg while chasing a ball in the second over of the game. At that point, he had to be helped off the pitch and didn’t return until a chase of 127 became unexpectedly tense.
KL Rahul Updated His Fans With His Recovery Journey
As a result, Rahul was ruled out of the rest of the IPL 2023 and also had to miss the World Test Championship 2023 Final. He recently underwent surgery and said that the procedure was successful.
“Hi everyone, I just got done with my surgery. It was successful. A big thank you to the doctors and medical staff for making sure I was comfortable and everything went smoothly. I am officially on the road to recovery now. I am determined to get back to my best and get back on the field.”
Ever since his successful surgery, Rahul has been sharing images and videos and is keeping his fans updated with his fitness journey.
On Thursday, the talented keeper-batter posted a series of images and videos as he steps up his return from the injury. Sharing the pictures and videos, KL Rahul wrote: “Week so far ..”
