James Anderson Praises Team India On Instagram After Test Series Loss – England arrived in India for a 5-game test series. They came up with their new approach called ‘Bazball’ which has provided them with great success. They also won the first test in Hyderabad. However, the young Indian team came back strongly and won the next four matches to win the test series. There were not many positives for the English team. However, they did have one. The legendary pacer James Anderson scalped his 700th test wicket in the final game of the test series in Dharamshala.

Anderson has troubled the best of the batters from all generations with his uncanny ability to swing the ball in both directions. At 42-years-old. He is still going strong. He is currently ranked at number 3 on the list of highest wicket-takers in test cricket. After the end of the test series, he reflected on the test series loss against India on Instagram. He stated that it was a tough end to the test series. He also praised India, saying that they were incredibly good in the series. He thanked the support of the England fans and hoped to contribute more in the summer.

“A tough end to the series. India just too good this time. We gave it everything the last couple of months. Love being part of this test team and we’ll keep striving to improve and entertain. Thanks for all the support from back home and especially those who travelled. See you in the summer,” Anderson wrote.

Having played 187 test matches to date, Anderson has picked up 700 wickets at an average of 26.53. This tells you about the class and calibre of a pacer, which we may not get for a long time in test cricket. Anderson will be raring to go yet again when England are back home for their English summer.
