VIDEO: Jasprit Bumrah And India Players Celebrate Chandrayaan-3 Moon Landing In Ireland – In a historic occasion, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), which is the space agency of India, successfully landed their spacecraft, Chandrayaan-3, on the moon’s southern pole on Wednesday evening.
This success was celebrated worldwide by Indians and other scientists who praised the ISRO for their dedication and hard work and congratulated them for the success of their mission.
At 6:04 IST, the lander containing a rover smoothly, and slowly made contact with the lunar surface, eking out applause from Indians all over the world, including from Team India which is present currently in Dublin, Ireland.
Just about an hour before the scheduled toss in Ireland, the Indian players and support staff gathered around a digital device that gave a live telecast of this momentous occasion. The Jasprit Bumrah-led unit made a great round of applause for the successful mission and acknowledged the hard-working team of ISRO.
The BCCI posted a video on social media of the Indian players in Dublin celebrating and applauding while watching the Chandrayaan-3 landing.
In the video uploaded by the BCCI can be seen playing smiling and cheerful, the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Rinku Singh, and Yasashvi Jaiswal having beaming smiles on their faces.

The Chandrayaan-3 mission was launched on July 14 earlier this year. It made a 41-day trip to land on the lunar south pole. Four years ago, the previous project, Chandrayaan-2, had failed in its last stage. Chandrayaan’s first mission was staged back in 2008.
Former India captain and superstar cricketer Virat Kohli also congratulated the ISRO team for their success.

Jai Hind!” Virat Kohli tweeted.
The current captain Rohit Sharma, too, joined the bandwagon: “The 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 to reach the lunar south pole.
That’s got a nice ring to it A proud moment for each one of us & a big congratulations to @isro for all their efforts,” Rohit Sharma tweeted.
As for the team in Ireland, the Jasprit Bumrah-led unit has sealed the series with a 2-0 lead. The 3rd T20I will be played on Wednesday.
