In a recent advertisement for the betting platform Dream11, Shreyas Iyer and Jasprit Bumrah, both of whom were part of India’s Test squad against England, engaged in some light-hearted banter. They are set to play for Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders, respectively, in the upcoming IPL 2024 season.
Jasprit Bumrah Gave A Hilarious Warning To Shreyas Iyer
In the Dream11 advertisement, Shreyas Iyer and Jasprit Bumrah engaged in playful banter, with Bumrah teasing Iyer about getting him out for a duck in the IPL. This banter comes ahead of the IPL 2024 season, where Iyer will captain Kolkata Knight Riders and Bumrah will lead the Mumbai Indians’ bowling attack.
In the video, Bumrah can be seen relaxing by the poolside, sipping juice, while Shreyas Iyer is swimming in the pool. As Iyer swims against the backdrop of the setting sun, a duck suddenly appears in front of him, surprising him. In the next scene, Bumrah appears and humorously reminds Iyer that he’ll have to face him in the IPL.
Then, a person sitting next to Jasprit Bumrah jokingly advised Iyer to get used to seeing ducks, implying that he will struggle against the right-arm pacer when they face off in the IPL. Sharing the video, Bumrah wrote:
“Iss duck se dosti karle @ShreyasIyer15, warna match mein toh main karwa hi dunga 😌🦆”
“Shreyas, this tournament, you’ll have to face me.” – Bumrah said. “So get used to these ducks brother,” the guy next to Bumrah said.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians will commence their campaign with a match against Gujarat Titans on March 24th, while KKR will start their season with a game against Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 23rd in Kolkata.
