Known for his fiery Yorkers and death bowling, Jasprit Bumrah is one of the best ODI bowlers in the world today. Over the last year and a half, he has made himself one of the most important members of the Indian limited overs squad and will continue for at least a decade or so by the looks of it.

Jasprit Bumrah learnt all about bowling those Yorkers from another master, Lasith Malinga and looks to have mastered the art off late. He was awarded the Man of the Match award for his 5-wicket haul in the 3rd ODI and sat down for a fun interview with Rohit Sharma, the other hero of the match, who hit a century.
Enjoyed the break:
Bumrah said that he enjoyed the break he was afforded after the Champions Trophy by not playing the West Indian tour. He spent time with his family and got into a nice head space before heading for the Sri Lankan tour.
Escaped a tough one:
Rohit Sharma tried to goad the young bowler into revealing who his favourite actress was and Jasprit evaded one just like how Rahul Dravid used to evade the ones outside his off stump. When asked the question, Bumrah said that the question was not pertinent to the match that was played and asked Rohit to move on to the next one.
“I don’t think this question is relevant to the match,” Bumrah ducked rohit’s question
He said that he enjoyed training with Bharat Arun, the bowling coach and was looking forward to more challenges in the future.
“He (Bharat Arun) has been very helpful. I have been in U-19 and NCA camps with him so he knows my bowling from the U-19 days. He understands my bowling so it is always easier to interact and talk to him because he knows how the body works and what kind of deliveries you can bowl. It is always good to discuss with him and chat to him,” Bumrah Said.
