Jay Shah Hailed Rohit Sharma For His Match-Winning Performance: After beating Sri Lanka in the T20I series and Australia in the ODI series, Team India has been riding high on success after they pulled off another victory by defeating New Zealand in the just concluded T20I series.
The 3rd T20I against New Zealand turned out to be an absolute thriller as the fans got to witness some nail-biting competition in the super-over. All thanks to the incredible last over by Mohammad Shami and impeccable batting of Rohit Sharma in the super-over, the Indian cricket team was able to take an unassailable lead of 3-0 in the five-match T20I series.
Both the teams were able to pull off 179 runs in 20 over which eventually forced the match to go into the Super Over.

In the super over, Team India needed 10 off 2 deliveries, Rohit Sharma was on strike and Tim Southee was handed the ball. Rohit Sharma smashed back-to-back sixes to chase down the target of 18 runs given to them after Kane Williamson’s top-notch performance and team India won the match with 20/0 in the Super Over.
After the match, fans, celebrities and prominent people from all around were all praises for Team India’s performances. Everyone hailed ‘Hitman’ Sharma for his masterclass in the match.
The BCCI secretary Jay Shah also took to his Twitter to congratulate the team on their magnificent win in the series win. Jay Shah also heaped in praises on Hitman Rohit Sharma for his brilliant performance. He wrote:
