New Zealand star all-rounder Jimmy Neesham is one of the most entertaining personalities on social media, who is known for his hilarious sense of humor and funny tweets. On Wednesday, Neesham replied to an angry Pakistani fan, who claimed that the Kiwi cricketer has skipped New Zealand’s upcoming Pakistan tour because of money.

Well, the New Zealand cricket team is all set to play its first international series on Pakistani soil in 18-years later this month. However, Neesham isn’t a part of the Kiwi squad touring Pakistan. However, the exclusion of Jimmy Neesham from the NZ squad didn’t go down well with the fans, who are slamming Neesham for the same.

Recently, an angry fan from Pakistan slammed him and accused him for skipping the Pakistan tour ‘because of money’, hinting about his IPL deal. The fan wrote: “Shame on you. Skipper national duties for Money”

The tweet soon caught the attention of Neesham, who came up with a brilliant reply. In his tweet, Neesham revealed that he isn’t a part of the squad because of New Zealand Cricket player welfare policy. He also revealed that he even made a request for an exemption but that request was denied. He wrote:

“I’m getting a lot of messages like this so I want to be crystal clear. It is an NZ Cricket player welfare policy that first-choice players aren’t on this tour. I made a request for an exemption but that request was denied.”
