New Zealand stat all-rounder Jimmy Neesham is one of the most entertaining cricketers. He is very active on social media, where he is known for his savage replies and sense of humor. However, recently he was involved in a slightly heartfelt conversation with a fan on twitter.

Well, the conversation was regarding New Zealand’s heartbreaking defeat to England in the 2019 World Cup final, where he scored 14 of the required 15 runs in the Super Over, leaving Martin Guptill to score the last two runs on the last delivery. However, he could only score a single, thus tying the Super Over.

England had lifted the trophy on the account of the controversial boundary-count rule, which has now been scrapped by the ICC. Had New Zealand won the Cup, Jimmy would have won the Man of the Match award for his stunning performance in the game.

Recently, a fan took to his social media and shared a picture of Jimmy and expressed how he wished Neesham had finished the World Cup final. He also appreciated the humongous six that Neesham smashed off Jofra Archer. The fan wrote:

“I still wish how neesham had finished wc final after smashing archer for a six which led equation came down to 7 off 4,”

The tweet soon caught the attention of Jimmy Neesham , who replied the fan with a heartfelt plea. He asked for a break from the constant reminders of the World Cup final. He wrote:

“Just one day off would be nice,”
