Jimmy Neesham Hilariously Trolls ICC After ICC Scraps Boundary Count Rule

Three months after the controversial finale of ICC World Cup 2019, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has decided to scrap boundary count rule that used to decide the result of a semi-final or final at an ICC event, in case of a tied Super Over.

The controversial finale of ICC World Cup 2019 stirred a lot of controversy around the globe with the New Zealand cricket team losing the trophy because of the lower boundary count rule. However, now on review by the ICC Cricket Committee, they decided to scrap this rule.

In addition, the committee has decided to continue with the super over until the outcome of the match. ICC released a statement on Monday, that read:

“In Semi-finals and Finals, there is one change to the Super Over-regulation in keeping with the basic principle of scoring more runs than the opponent to win, the Super Over will be repeated until one team has more runs than the other.”

Jimmy Neesham, who was also a part of the New Zealand squad that went down against England in the finals of the ICC World Cup 2019 trolled ICC on the changed rule hilariously.

Poking fun at the Internation body on their new move, Jimmy compared the game with Titanic. He wrote:

“Next on the agenda: Better binoculars for the Ice spotters on the Titanic,”
