The season started on a bad note for Mumbai Indians, by far, they have only won a single match out of many matches they have played till now. The fifth match of Mumbai Indians is going on against Rajasthan Royals. However, talking about RR, they have failed to perform good in a few games.
Before the match, Mumbai Indians won the toss and decided to bat first. After the first innings the player of Mumbai Indians have given the target of 167 runs to Rajasthan Royals.
Today for Mumbai Indians, the match was saved by SuryaKumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan, who unlike the other players played really well. Suryakumar Yadav scored 72 runs in 47 balls and smashed 6 fours and 3 sixes.
On the other hand, Ishan Kishan, who was severely injured in the previous match after the ball hit his eye, played a great innings and scored 58 runs in 42 balls including 4 fours and 3 sixes.
The skipper of the team, Rohit Sharma was sent back to pavilion on the first ball itself after he was given run-out. Hardik Pandya scored 4 runs in 2 balls. Krunal Pandya too was sent back to pavilion by Heinrich Klaasen, he scored 7 runs in 6 balls.
On the other hand, the bowlers of Rajasthan Royals gave an exceptional performance. Jofra Archer scalped three wickets in the first innings itself. What a player he is.
However, the top players of the MI team failed to perform in this match, which has disappointed the fans of the cricketers, have a look at how they reacted:

First 14 overs, 129/1 , last 6 overs 38/6. Brilliant comeback by @rajasthanroyals to pull things back. Jofra Archer made his presence felt in style. Very good debut. #RRvMI
