England’s star batsman Jos Buttler recently appeared on a live session on Instagram through the Rajasthan Royals’ account. Buttler is widely regarded as one of the cleanest hitters of the cricket ball and he has made a big name for himself in the last 4 years or so. Many cricket pundits and fans believe that he has the caliber to make a huge impact for England in all forms of cricket with his breathtaking display of batting.
During his live interaction with RR fans, Jos Buttler spoke about Rohit Sharma and heaped praises on the Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma. Talking about India’s swashbuckling opener, Jos Buttler said that Rohit is an “awesome” player and he is one of the most effortless batsmen in the world.
“Rohit Sharma I think is an awesome player. Effortless. Quite a lot of Indian players have that awesome style. He has been fantastic for a long time and I just like the way he bats and the effortless nature in which he takes people down,” Jos Buttler said in the live Instagram session with Rajasthan Royals.
Talking more about Rohit Sharma’s batting, Buttler said that his runs mostly have a big impact on the game. He also mentioned Rohit’s brilliant performance in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 in which he scored 5 hundred. Buttler also added that Rohit Sharma is the best player in the cricket team tp counter short-pitched bowling.
“One of the things I have seen with Rohit is that if he gets in, he scores big runs and really affects the game. He must have scored 4-5 hundred in the World Cup last year. I think a few years ago people used to attack Indian players with the short ball but Rohit smashes them. Then you go fuller and he smashes them right down the ground,” added Jos Buttler.
