Jos Buttler Wants To Learn From ‘Inspiring’ Virat Kohli After His Recent Failures

England wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler isn’t having a great time on-field in Test cricket. Having helped his side in lifting the prestigious World Cup trophy in 2019, Jos Buttler has failed to replicate his ODI form into the longest format of the game. He has been under the scanner because of his bad form and poor performances off lately.

So far, Jos Buttler has played five games against South Africa and New Zealand but the cricketer has failed to give the best of his abilities in both the series. His top score in those games was just 43 runs. However, despite having a horrible run in both the series, Joss Buttler was named in England’s test squad for the Sri Lanka tour.
But Jos Buttler is keeping all his hopes alive and hopes to replicate his form back like Virat Kohli, David Warner, and Faf de Plessis, who have given their best across all the formats, over the years.

On Monday, talking in an interview, Jos Buttler talked about his poor form and how he is eager to make a comeback replicating some of the best batsmen in the world. He said:
There’s a crop of guys who are the best in the world, and they’re the best across all formats. They manage to do it”
But the best players can play all formats. You want to play all the games, be involved in all the formats. I certainly do.”

Jos Buttler talked about how he is looking to repay the faith the selectors have showed on him. He said:
You’ve always got to be positive. Obviously I haven’t played as well as I’d have liked in the majority of the winter, but you don’t become a bad player overnight so I’m looking to repay some faith and get back to playing my best cricket.”
When you’re playing well you feel like you make the right decisions a lot of the time. You feel in very good headspace. I just feel like I haven’t been able do that often enough,”
