Currently in the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati is the eighth match of the Indian Premier League 2023, featuring Rajasthan Royals (RR) versus Punjab Kings (PBKS). After being given the opportunity to bat first, the visitors have amassed an enormous total.

The Punjab Kings scored 197 runs, thanks in large part to the undefeated 86 runs scored by captain Shikhar Dhawan and the 60 runs scored by Prabhsimran Singh. With that type of a start, they’re probably 5-10 runs short, and Jos Buttler deserves a lot of the credit for that.

Before sending Prabhsimran Singh packing for 60 runs, the English batter gobbled up a spectacular catch. Then, as if that weren’t enough, he took another incredible catch that sent Shahrukh Khan back to the pavilion for 11 runs and left Punjab Kings at 196/4, severely reducing their prospects of scoring more than 200.

On the fifth ball of the final over of the first innings, Shahrukh attempted a home run. After failing to get his preferred lodging, he scouted the area from above and to the long-on.

Jos Buttler made a tremendous effort, racing in and sliding forward to make a spectacular two-handed catch in front of his boot, where it appeared the ball would fall safely.
