Juhi Chawla Wrote A Heartfelt Note For Her Daughter Jahnavi After IPL 2022 Mega-Auction

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) co-owner Juhi Chawla shared a heartfelt note for her daughter Jahnavi Mehta after the conclusion of the IPL 2022 mega-auction on Thursday. Jahnavi Mehta filled the shoes of her mother as she attended the two-day mega auction of the cash-rich league on February 12th and 13th in Bengaluru.

Veteran actress Juhi Chawla is the co-owner of the Indian Premier League franchise Kolkata Knight Riders along with Bollywood superstar Sunil Gavaskar Made A Big Statement About Harshal Patel. The duo was represented by their kids at the gala event and it won’t be wrong to say that the star-kids were the center of all the attractions at the mega-event.

Jahnavi was sitting alongside franchise CEO Venky Mysore, Bharat Arun (assistant coach), AR Srikanth (head of talent scouting and player acquisitions), Abhishek Nayar (assistant coach) at the mega auction event. Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan were also present at the mega-auctions, as they filled in the shoes of their father Shah Rukh Khan.

After the two-time winning franchise assembled their squad for the 2022 edition of the IPL, Juhi Chawla shared a heartwarming note for her daughter.

Juhi Chawla took to Instagram and shared a beautiful video of Jahnavi. Sharing the video, Juhi talked about Jahnavi’s love for cricket, Juhi said that her daughter’s face lights up whenever the beautiful game is discussed. She wrote:

“Ever since she was a little girl, Jahnavi didn’t just watch IPL, she began to watch cricket. Listening intently to the commentators, she began to understand the intricacies of the game,”

Impressed by Jahnavi’s knowledge about the game of cricket, Juhi thanked KKR CEO Mysore for allowing her daughter to take part in the mega auction. Juhi also hailed her daughter being the ‘youngest person’ to be allowed a the IPL auction table three years back when she was only 17-years-old. She wrote:

 “When cricket is discussed, her face lights up, she is happy and enthused. Her knowledge on the topic, is to me, astounding. It is extremely kind of Mr. Venky Mysore, our CEO who allows her to participate in important discussions and even encourages her to voice her views,”

Meanwhile, Shreyas Iyer has been named the captain of the Kolkata-based franchise.
