They fought till the last ball, keeping their spirits high but despite ending up in a tie, the New Zealand cricket team ended up as the runners up of World Cup 2019 on July 14th at Lords.

It was in the year 2015 when Kane Williamson was a part of the New Zealand cricket team that couldn’t make it to the cup and they lost the game to Australia under the leadership of Brendon McCullum. This time Kane Williamson himself was the skipper of the team but destiny was not on New Zealand’s side.

Kane Williamson did an amazing job as the skipper of the team. There were times when he fought alone like a wolf and took his team to the winning sides. He kept the spirit of the game alive and won everyone’s heart with his cool personality. He took away the Prestigious player of the tournament’s trophy, that he deserved the most.

At the finale, the England cricket team won their maiden world cup on the basis of the number of boundaries hit by them. The tie eventually led to the first-ever super-over in a world cup. 15 runs were needed from the super over, but, the Super Over also ended up in a tie and thus England win on more boundaries.
