Was it a bird? Was it a plane? No, it was Keegan Petersen, who picked a stunning one-handed screamer to dismiss India’s veteran batsman Cheteshwar Pujara in the ongoing third and final Test match against South Africa in Cape Town. Keegan managed to make everyone jump out of their seats as he pulled off an absolute stunner to send Cheteshwar Pujara packing in the second innings of the ongoing do-or-die match in Cape Town.
Petersen, who was fielding at leg gully just dived full-length to his right and grabbed the ball. Pujara received a bumper from Marco Jansen from around the wicket as the bowler started targetting Pujara’s body.
Cheteshwar Pujara who was batting at 9 was in two minds whether to leave the ball or play it. Eventually, Pujara tried to defend a bounder from Marco Jansen and Petersen grabbed the chance as he pulled off a one-hand blinder, diving to his right.
Keegan gave a much-needed great start to his side as he dismissed Pujara early in the day without letting him disturb the scorecard. The video of the stunning catch has been going viral on the internet and has caught everyone’s attention.
