Keshav Maharaj Thanked Lord Ram In His Latest Instagram Post: Team India’s tour to South Africa, which started in a blockbuster way turned into a nightmare. The India side registered a massive win in the opening Test by 113 runs, however, that turned out to be their sole victory in the entire tour. South Africa thrashed the Indian side in the next Two Test games and they also managed to whitewash India in the 3-match ODI series.

South Africa’s bowler Keshav Maharaj, who is an Indian-origin left-arm bowler, made a substantial impact in the ODI series as he picked three wickets in the 3 games with his economy rate being 4.59.

Maharaj, who picked the invaluable wicket of Virat Kohli in the second and third ODI match between India and South Africa, became the first spinner to dismiss Virat Kohli for a duck in the ODI format.

In the third Test match as well, Virat Kohli, who smashed a stunning half-century, was looking in fine form and looked all set to take over the line. However, Maharaj crushed the hopes of the former Indian captain as he produced a stunning delivery and dismissed Kohli on 65 runs.

Thrilled with his team’s victory Keshav Maharaj took to social media to celebrate his team’s win with a special post. He shared pictures of his team, where the Men in Green were seen posing with the trophy. Sharing the pictures, he wrote:

“What a Series it’s been couldn’t be more proud of this team and how far we have come, time to recharge and prepare for the next one Jai Shree Raam,”

Meanwhile, fans on social media were quick to notice the ‘Jai Shree Raam’ mentioned in the post as they hailed the Proteas bowler for not forgetting his roots. Notably, Maharaj also has “Jai Shree Raam, Jai Shree Hanuman” chants written on his Instagram profile bio.
