The former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen is one of the best cricketers to have played for England. However, his career was filled with controversies of all sorts. Infact, KP playing in the Indian Premier League resulted in his fallout with his teammates and the ECB. The idea of KP playing in the IPL didn’t go down well with many.

Recently, Michael Vaughan made a big statement about the whole issue. He claimed that likes of Graeme Swann, James Anderson, Stuart Broad, Tim Bresnan, and Matt Prior were jealous of Kevin Pietersen earning huge money with the Indian Premier League. He claimed that these players though KP is playing only and only for money but in fact, he just wanted to develop his white-ball game.

Though the former skipper spoke in favor of KP, but the earlier statements didn’t go down well with KP, who took to his social media and slammed Michael for spreading negativity.

“STAGGERING! Still getting headlines, these stories!
Can I humbly request that this ISN’T spoken about AGAIN!
We’ve all moved on and there’s many more wonderful things to talk about in my career!
We live in a broken world right now, where positivity is needed!
PLEASE?! “
