Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen, who is very active on the micro-blogging site, recently took a dig at the Indian cricket team after he shared a tweet in Hindi and found himself at the receiving end of trolling. It happened after the Indian skipper Virat Kohli lost the toss, KP took to his twitter to predict the result of the day while taking a dig at the Indian cricket team. KP wrote:
“Oops india, asha karta hoon ki yeh, toss jeeto match jeeto wala wicket na ho.” (which roughly translates to- Hope this is not a win-toss win-match wicket.)

However, as the match kickstarted team India got off to an amazing start as the talented Indian bowlers shattered the England’s batting line-up. The England cricket team crumbled to 81 for 4 in the first session.
One of the prized scalp was of that of skipper Joe Root, who was dismissed for 17 runs. While, Dom Sibley and Jonny Bairstow were dismissed without scoring any runs, on the other hand, Zak Crawley, who was the top-scorer for the England cricket team was dismissed for 53 runs.
The visitors then lost Ben Stokes and Ollie Pope after they scored 6 and 1 runs respectively, earlier in the second session to collapse to 81 for 6. Later on, the England cricket team ended their innings on 112 runs. India’s Axar Patel picked a six-wicket haul and turned out to be the hero with the bat as the England batsmen struggled on the pitch to keep the runs flowing.
Meanwhile, the tweet of Kevin Pietersen was flooded with many interesting reactions. Twitterati took this as an opportunity and trolled him left, right and center after his prediction went wrong. There were many who trolled him for tweeting in Hindi.
Responding to England’s bowling attack, the Indian batsmen gave a stunning performance and are currently trailing with 13 runs.
