Last October, Kevin Pietersen had offered one-on-one coaching to a young cricketer, Rohan Luthra who had written a letter to him seeking help regarding his batting.
Rohan, who was selected to play in the Cheshire under-11 team but couldn’t afford the 10,000 pounds, wrote a letter to Pietersen requesting a one-on-one coaching class. Rohan had saved 1,000 pounds but when Pietersen read his letter, he was so touched that he offered for a one-on-one session for free and that Pietersen would arrange for travel so that Rohan doesn’t has to incur a penny.
Pietersen, who is one of the most loved cricketers in England, kept his promised and gave a one-on-one coaching class to Rohan. Pietersen’s generous gesture towards young Rohan is something which not many cricketers will do.
