The ongoing Road Safety World Series has been going on in full swing. On Tuesday, England Legends, led by Kevin Pietersen thrashed India Legends by 6 runs in a thriller at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur.
Kevin Pietersen played a match-winning knock as he led his side with a 37-ball 75 run knock to help England Legends post a score of 188/7 in 20 over. Not just he took the spinners to the cleaners but also led his side to a win over Indian Legends. He was adjudged as the player of the match for his stunning performance.
Later after the match, Kevin Pietersen took to his social media and took a hilarious jibe at the cricket team and the selectors. Trolling the England cricket team, KP wrote:
“So England CAN beat India in India! How cool was that game?
England selectors – we’re all available! ”

Well, recently on the third day of the fourth Test match between India and England, KP urged the England batsmen to bat well once and find their rhythm after struggling for runs throughout the Test series. However, the Indian cricket team gave a stunning performance and defeated England to win the 4-match Test series by 3-1. Later, in the Road Safety World Series match, Pietersen walked the talk and showcased his talent and how it is done.
Talking about the England Legends vs India Legends match, both Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar failed with the bat however Irfan Pathan gave a brilliant performance but couldn’t take his team to the winning side. He scored an unbeaten half-century and he was well supported by Yuvraj Singh (22) and Yusuf (17).
