Former England captain Kevin Pietersen joined the bandwagon in celebrating the Ram Mandir’s Pran Pratishtha by making the chant “Jai Shree Ram” on Twitter a day after the event.
January 22, Monday, marked a historic day for the Hindu community as India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, led the rituals for the Pran Pratishtha (consecration ceremony) of the Hindu god Lord Ram in Ayodhya.
This auspicious occasion was celebrated by Hindus all around the globe and on social media. Among the over 7000 attendees in Ayodhya were Sachin Tendulkar, Ravindra Jadeja, Anil Kumble, Mithali Raj, and Venkatesh Prasad.
On social media, Australia’s David Warner and England’s Kevin Pietersen wished their fans of this mega-event.
A day after the ceremony in Ayodhya, Kevin Pietersen tweeted, “जय श्री राम”. He got plenty of love and adoration from Indian fans for this post.

Kevin Pietersen comes out in support of Virat Kohli after the India star pulls out from the first two IND vs ENG Tests

It came as a major setback for the Indian team after Virat Kohli withdrew from the first two Tests of the upcoming 5-Test series against England at home, citing personal reasons.
Pietersen, who is Virat Kohli’s former RCB teammate and a huge admirer of the India star, lent his support to the 35-year-old. The 43-year-old commentator asked the fans to respect Kohli’s decision.
Kevin Pietersen tweeted, “If a sportsman pulls out for personal reasons, RESPECT IT!
End of!”
The BCCI has named 30-year-old Madhya Pradesh batter Rajat Patidar as the replacement for Kohli for the first two Test matches, which will be played in Hyderabad and Vizag.
