Former West Indies captain Kieron Pollard heaped praises on the star Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya for his incredible comeback to the international scene and also sent a strong warning to the Indian cricket fans ahead of the much-awaited ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia.

Notably, Pandya made a blockbuster comeback in the IPL 2022 after enduring a tough time due to his fitness. Pandya performed exceptionally well in the tournament and captained Gujarat Titans to a maiden trophy in their debut season. Later, he made a return to the Indian cricket team as well and gave back-to-back performances to cement his spot for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022.

Speaking about Pandya’s performance, his long-term teammate Kieron Pollard has lavished praise on him and said that he is not really surprised with what Pandya has done in the IPL 2022 and for India. He said:

“Hardik is work in progress. He was going through a rough time in the last couple of months. Again, we have seen the rewards of his hard work. I know him for a couple of years and I understand how he thinks and operates. It’s not surprising for me what he did in international cricket and for the Gujarat Titans,”

Hardik and Pollard share a great bond with each other as they shared a dressing room with each other at the Mumbai Indians for six years between 2015 and 2021.Kieron reserved big praise for Hardik and called him a cricketer who comes ‘once in so many years.’ The Mumbai Indians star player urged fans to enjoy his game and wished Hardik good luck for the future. He said:

“All I want is the best for him on the cricket field. Let’s just enjoy him. We tend to put them up on pedestal, and the moment they don’t deliver, we drag them down. He’s a brilliant cricketer. Cricketers like him come once in so many years. So again, I only wish him good luck,”
