Kirti Azad Posted An Insulting Tweet For ‘Dada’ Sourav Ganguly: On January 2nd, the cricket fraternity was greeted with a piece of sad news after former Indian skipper and the current president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Sourav Ganguly suffered a mild cardiac arrest.

Well, on Saturday, he complained of chest pain and experienced dizziness while he was exercising in the gym. Thereafter, Ganguly was rushed to the hospital. Sourav Ganguly had undergone angioplasty in the evening of the same after the doctors found blockages in his three coronary arteries. Meanwhile, the former Indian skipper is now stable and will be monitored further and a decision will be made at a later date on doing another angioplasty.

As soon as the news surfaced on the internet, social media was flooded with prayers and recovery wishes for the legendary Indian cricketer. Several cricketers – former and present, experts and fans, from all around the world took to their social media and sent their wishes for Dada.

While many sent their warm wishes, former Indian cricketer and Congress leader Kirti Azad tried to insult Sourav Ganguly.

The tweet features Sourav Ganguly endorsing a cooking oil, which is believed to be very good for the consumers’ hearts. Therefore, Kirti Azad took a dig at Ganguly and the company while wishing Ganguly. Kirti Azad wrote:

“Dada @SGanguly99 get well soon. Always promote tested and tried products. Be Self conscious and careful. God bless”

For the unversed, ‘Fortune Rice Bran Cooking Oil brand’, which is promoted by Sourav Ganguly is manufactured by Adani Wilmar Ltd, owned by Indian billionaire Gautam Adani.

Adani has close allies with Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP), while on the other hand, Kirti Azad is a member of the Indian National Congress along alongwith his wife Poonam. Therefore, with his tweet, Kirti Azad not just took a jibe at Sourav Ganguly but at his political rival Adani Group.
