Kolkata Knight Riders‘ star Rinku Singh produced an unbelievable knock in the side’s game against Gujarat Titans on Sunday evening at the Narendra Modi Stadium. It was arguably the greatest finish in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as he helped his side Kolkata Knight Riders seal a victory over Gujarat Titans (GT) in a dramatic clash

Rinku Singh Created History

After a stunning hat-trick from Rashid Khan, it looked like the game was in full control of Gujarat Titans, however, Rinku did the unthinkable and stole the victory from their hands. KKR needed 29 runs to win in the last over and the uncapped Indian pacer Yash Dayal was given the duty of bowling the over.

Though, Rinku started off slow, he was batting on 9 off 14 deliveries at one point in his stay at the middle. However, he slowly started changing the gears. His onslaught began from the 5th ball of the 19th over when he smashed Joshua Little for a six and a four off the final two deliveries. Singh’s barrage of sixes began when he smashed the second delivery towards extra cover for a huge six.

KKR needed 29 runs off the last over, which seemed like a bit too much, however, Rinku unleashed the beast in him as he smashed the left-arm pacer Yash Dayal for five sixes on the trot to register a last-ball victory.

Rinku finished with a score of 48 in 21 balls as he secured an unlikely victory for KKR.

Meanwhile, all thanks to the thrilling knock by Rinku, fans on social media went berserk. Fans couldn’t keep calm and they came up with amazing messages and posts dedicated to the KKR batter.

Even Aryan Khan, whose dad Shah Rukh Khan owns Kolkata Knight Riders, was impressed. He took to his social media and called him a beast in his Instagram Story.
