KL Rahul Gave A Brilliant Reply When Asked About Virat Kohli’s Missing Energy: The Indian cricket team was thrashed by South Africa in the ongoing 3-match ODI series, following a 7-wicket defeat in the 2nd ODI match. Though, the Indian team posted a stiff total on the board but the bowlers failed to make any impact against the Proteas batters, who stitched some valuable partnerships to register a stunning win over India.

It was India’s first appearance ever since Virat Kohli was succeeded by Rohit Sharma as the full-time white-ball skipper. Several fans and experts felt that the energy of Virat Kohli was missing from the team.

Virat Kohli is one of the most energetic and entertaining players on-field. From entertaining the crowd to boosting the morale of his teammates, Virat Kohli’s energy on-field is infectious. However, in the ongoing series, the energy of Virat was missing and it caught everyone’s attention.

Later, after the match, during the post-match presentation, KL Rahul was asked whether team India was missing Virat Kohli’s energy as skipper. Responding to this, KL Rahul came up with an interesting reply by saying that the team energy has been ‘great’. He said:

“The energy has been great, it’s been tough on the body staying in the bubbles. We love challenges and we have come short in the first two games, we will look ahead to the third game and try and win that one,”

South Africa has now taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the ongoing 3-match ODI series and the dead rubber – final ODI match set to be played on Sunday.
